Abstract
Aim: Amplifying the detection of amyloid beta peptide (Aβ peptide)
Methodology: Release of ferricyanide out of the liposomes, which was induced by the interaction between the liposomes and the peptides
Findings: Detection limit was 5 pg/mL, and the linear range was 0.01 to 10 ng/mL.
Conclusion: Sensitivity of this detection was almost identical with the comparable technique such as the bioassay based on gold nanostructures.
Recommendation: Methodology developed in this study was feasible as the portable and ultrasensitive method.
Keywords: Amyloid beta peptide, ph-sensitive liposomes, encapsulating ferricyanide, cyclic voltammetry
